Estate AgencyLocal Estate Agency Coverage
Walker & Sharpe are members of the Dumfries & Galloway Solicitors Property Centre (DGSPC). The DGSPC is a formidable marketing tool for sellers marketing their property through a solicitor. Prospective purchasers no longer have to check with each solicitor in the area to establish what properties are on the market. Instead, at the click of a mouse or by visiting or telephoning one of the DGSPC's offices in Dumfries, Annan or Castle Douglas, prospective purchasers can have immediate access to properties for sale through solicitors throughout the whole of Dumfries & Galloway.

The majority of residential properties marketed for sale in Dumfries & Galloway are sold through the DGSPC. For that reason, the DGSPC tends to be the first port of call for purchasers wishing to buy locally.

National Coverage
National coverage of your property for sale is provided by our own website and the DGSPC website. The latter is also promoted by the Scottish Solicitors Property Centre (SSPC) website, which links all of the Solicitors Property Centre websites in Scotland.

Our Estate Agency Services
Our dedicated Property Manager will provide you with a free, no-commitment, pre-sale valuation of your property. If you decide to go ahead, our Property Manager will take photographs and measurements of your property, prepare a schedule of sales particulars, arrange for a surveyor to prepare a Home Report, and, after discussion with you, place your property on the market for sale at an agreed asking price. We will deal with enquiries from interested parties, keep a register of 'notes of interest' in your property, contact parties who have noted interest in your property, advise you and take your instructions on offers received and on the fixing of a closing date. When an acceptable offer is received, there will be a seamless transfer to our conveyancing department, who will deal with the legal work involved in your sale.
